I bought my first kayak in 2001 and have been paddling ever since. The first few years I paddled a lot in the Stockholm archipelago and often took the tent with me.

 

In recent years I have almost exclusively paddled on Lake Mälaren in Stockholm, mostly around Kungsholmen, on Riddarfjärden, Långholmen, Årstaviken, the Essinge Islands and out towards Lovön. A few times a year I also paddle in the Stockholm archipelago, staying overnight in a tent.

 

When the weather permits and I find a suitable subject, I photograph from the kayak. See the photo gallery .

 

I am a trained Sea Kayak Leader 1 and have a Green Paddle Pass - Level 2 .

Is certified by the Swedish Canoe Association as an examiner for Paddle Pass Yellow - Level 1 .

Also holds a Class VIII Naval Officer's Certificate.
